Modern web
that converts.

Custom web applications, marketing sites, WordPress builds, and cloud hosting with the boring stuff handled correctly.

What is custom web development?

Custom web development means the site or app is built around how your business actually works, instead of forcing your process into a generic template. That can be a marketing site, customer portal, e-commerce store, API, or full app built with React, Next.js, and Node.js.

The tradeoff is simple: templates are faster at the start, but custom builds give you better control over speed, design, integrations, and long-term maintenance.

The measurements below are why it matters: 53% of mobile users abandon a site that takes more than three seconds to load (Google / SOASTA), conversions fall about 7% for every additional second of load time (Aberdeen Group), and 75% of consumers judge a company's credibility on its website design (Stanford Web Credibility Research).

We choose the stack around the job, not around our favorite tool of the month. The goal is a site your team can use, update, measure, and keep improving after launch.

ADA compliance, built in instead of bolted on.

Websites are held to accessibility expectations under the Americans with Disabilities Act, and the benchmark most commonly used is WCAG 2.1 Level AA. We build to that standard from day one, and we can audit and repair sites that fall short.

No vendor can promise you will never receive a demand letter. What we can do is make the site genuinely usable for people with disabilities and leave you with a documented record of the work.

Accessible Builds

Semantic markup, full keyboard navigation, visible focus, readable color contrast, alt text, labeled forms, and captions designed in from the first wireframe.

Remediation

Already have a site with problems? We fix the code in place, whether it is WordPress, Webflow, Shopify, or a custom app, and retest until every issue is closed.

Monitoring & Documentation

Re-testing after launches and content changes, plus an accessibility statement and a written record of what was tested and fixed.

Accessibility Statement Ongoing Checks

From idea to launch.

  1. Discovery

We learn the business goal, audience, constraints, and what would make the project worth the spend — including any Section 508 accessibility requirements for public-sector builds.

  2. Design & Architecture

We choose the stack, map the content and flows, and get the interface direction approved before build.

  3. Build

We build in short cycles with working demos, so you see real progress before the project gets expensive.

  4. Test & Security Review

We test the important flows across devices and browsers, then run a security and accessibility review — Section 508 checks included for public-sector builds — before anything ships.

  5. Launch & Support

We handle deployment, DNS, SSL, monitoring, maintenance, speed work, and future feature updates.

FAQs

What is a custom web application?

A custom web application is software built for your process instead of an off-the-shelf product. It might be a portal, dashboard, SaaS product, or web tool that handles your workflows and data.

How long does it take to build a custom website?

A simple marketing website or landing page takes 2–4 weeks. A full custom web application with authentication, database, and APIs typically takes 6–12 weeks depending on scope. We work in sprints and deliver working demos early so you can give feedback throughout the build.

Should I use WordPress or a custom web app?

WordPress is the right call for content-heavy sites, blogs, and businesses that need their team to manage content without a developer. Custom apps are better when you need specific logic, complex user interactions, third-party integrations, or a product that needs to scale. We'll give you an honest recommendation based on your actual needs.

Do you provide ongoing support after my website launches?

Yes. We offer ongoing maintenance, performance monitoring, security updates, and feature development after launch. We can work on retainer for predictable monthly support or on-demand for as-needed updates.

Does my website need to be ADA compliant?

Title III of the ADA covers businesses that are open to the public, and courts increasingly treat websites as part of that. A 2024 Department of Justice rule also sets WCAG 2.1 AA as the standard for state and local government websites. There is no certificate that makes a site "compliant," but WCAG 2.1 AA is the benchmark everyone measures against, and it is what we build and test to. This is general information, not legal advice.

Can you migrate my existing website to a new platform?

Yes. We handle migrations from legacy platforms, page builders, and older WordPress installs to modern stacks. This includes data migration, URL redirect mapping to preserve SEO rankings, and performance testing before go-live.
